Alone in brightness and all that light

Alone in my darkest, most painful moments

Alone when I need someone by my side

Alone when I need sleep but there is none

Alone next to you staring into the sun 

Alone in a crowd of those that surround you

Alone at home amongst those whom you need

Alone emotionally and nowhere to go

Alone and unfit to be around you

Alone in feeling my feelings and my skin

I feel alone. 

Alone when someone mocks me and puts me down

Alone when I lie awake for hours on end 

Alone forever more.
